Our concept of Quality Intelligence revolves around two key attributes: omnipresence and smart automation. What is important for the time being is that you take a Quality Management selfie to see how dynamic and integrated your Quality Control processes really are. This self-evaluation will give you a roadmap for meaningful change. Because if you don’t know where you are, you can’t start your journey towards better Quality Management.
Your toolbox in taking this Quality Management selfie, and in monitoring the journey towards a better process, should contain performance indicators of some sort. The indicators enable you to quantify your as-is situation, define the to-be situation and evaluate each step along the path. With this document, we provide you with inspiration for the performance indicators. There is no such thing as universal or general Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that apply to all companies. Your KPIs should be tailored to your organization, your market, and your strategy. All we can do is show you how your colleague Quality leaders assess, evaluate and support their organizations.
This document discusses KPIs for the following aspects of Quality Management:
- Quality Control
- Document Management
- QESH Management
